Our Engineering team currently needs a Software Engineering Manager. We are looking for someone that would love to grow a strong team of developers. Let’s say we would prefer someone who is a fan of people over product. We are looking for someone who is great at balancing acts. Someone who can lead the team but also get their hands dirty. Someone who is passionate about fostering the development of the team while also driving highly critical technical projects end-to-end.
The role is an experienced role so you would need to have some prior experience managing an Engineering team. 3-5 years of experience would be sufficient for the role. The ideal person would be excited to champion engineering excellence, workplace culture from very very serious, to vibessss and also seeking a lot more control and ownership in their career.
We work primarily onsite at our office in Lagos (Lekki) from 9–5 every day, so you would have to be prepared to come to the office every day. And if you say oh, what about COVID, we are all working from home right now but we are firm believers in the human race and our ability to overcome this. So in a matter of time, we would be working from the office again seeing beautiful faces.

About the Job
On a daily basis, you will work with engineers, product and design to build new products while maintaining the quality and improving the experience of existing products. You will coordinate activities within the engineering team to ensure various programming tasks are completed according to standards and established guidelines.
Another part of the job would be working with Human Capital to recruit a diverse team of top-tier engineers. You would be a core part of providing leadership, guidance and motivation to the team.
